EMANUEL GAT & AWIR LEON
Israeli choreographer Emanuel Gat has been fine-tuning his process with his dancers during 10 years. Based on discussion and exchange, he gives free rein to the artists to express themselves on stage, making each of their performances unique.
« Sunny » is his latest stage essay and brings on stage Awir Leon, a former dancer of the company, but also a bewitching electronic musician. Through this new configuration, the piece increases tenfold the organic sensations, the human confrontations, the emotions, too. Directed by Virgile Gesbert and Eric Rakotonirina for Absolt, this film captures this thrilling energy, these singular characters, but also these luminous silences.
